Every home has that one room — the one that collects random furniture, leftover decor, and good intentions. For this young family, it was a space that didn’t serve much purpose, but was needed for daily functionality.

When we were brought in, the goal was clear: transform the forgotten catch-all room into an intentional space that felt just as good for getting things done as it did for slowing down.
The result? A moody, color-drenched home office meets den — a space equally suited for Zoom calls and movie marathons. It’s sophisticated without being stuffy, polished but entirely livable.

We designed and installed custom built-ins to maximize storage and bring a sense of purpose to the room. A custom sofa, finished with contrasting piping, anchors the space and adds a tailored, personal touch. These thoughtful layers bring balance — work and rest, function and comfort, form and personality.
It’s always rewarding to see a room shift from forgotten to favorite. And in this case, it’s now a space our clients want to spend time in — whether they’re answering emails or unwinding at the end of the day.

We worked with our friends at Knotty Cabinetry to create this gorgeous and functional built in that gave the family storage that makes a statement!

Adding some soft touches with new blinds, linen window treatments and a patterned rug brought the space home to create a cozy environment for this family to make memories in.
